According to Album des Pavillons
[pay00], the flag of the Chief of the Defence Staff (Chef d'État-Major des Armées, CEMA) is a square tricolour flag with two blue swords crossed per saltire in the middle of the white stripe, surmonted by a five-pointed blue star.
The car flag of the CEMA is similar but with proportions 7:8.

Marine, CEMM) is a square tricolour flag with two blue anchors crossed
per saltire in the middle of the white stripe.
The car flag of the CEMM is similar but with proportions 7:8.
